Provisional estimates for the number of housing sales made in June 2021 were 219% higher than the number of transactions in June 2020, demonstrating the impact that the government stamp duty holiday has had on homebuyers. Offering an unmissable opportunity for homeowners looking to buy a new build property and still enjoy stamp duty savings, award-winning housebuilder Inland Homes is extending the deadline at two of its developments until the 30th September 2021. Applied at Venue in Maidenhead and Randalls in Uxbridge, this generous extension will give interested homebuyers the opportunity to save thousands of pounds when buying their new home. Additionally, a selection of properties at these developments are also available to purchase through the Help to Buy scheme with a 5% deposit.
Helping purchasers to secure a new home, Inland’s stamp duty holiday extension will provide a stamp duty saving for properties priced between £250,000 and £500,000. In order to qualify, sales must be legally completed between 1st July 2021 and 30th September 2021.
Vicki Noon, Sales and Marketing Director at Inland Homes, comments:
The governments stamp duty holiday is an excellent source of support for buyers to be able to afford a new home, and we are delighted to be announcing that we have extended the scheme up to £500,000 to benefit even more house-hunters that may have initially missed out. We have some stunning properties available at our developments Venue and Randalls where purchasers can take full advantage of this offer until the end of September.
Launched off-plan, there are several one and two-bedroom apartments available at Randalls, in Uxbridge which will benefit from the extended stamp duty savings. All apartments boast open-plan living/dining areas as well as stylish designer bedrooms. Uxbridge hosts a bustling high street and two thriving shopping centres, including the Chimes Mall located in the centre of town. Residents at Randalls are connected to central London via the Metropolitan and Piccadilly lines at Uxbridge Underground Station, which is just moments away from the development. West Drayton station is also close by, providing over-ground services into the capital, as well as Crossrail connections from 2022. Current prices at Randalls start at £365,000.
All properties at Venue in Maidenhead, Berkshire are included in Inland’s stamp duty holiday extension, with potential savings of £9,750 on a property with a value of £395,000. Formerly housing the popular 1930’s nightclub “The Showboat”, Venue is now home to a selection of one and two-bedroom apartments. Taking advantage of its central location, residents have access to a range of excellent leisure facilities in Maidenhead town centre as well as fast and direct links to London, and access to the River Thames right on the doorstep. With only six homes remaining, prices on the remaining properties start from £290,000.
