Rebecca James Studio.png

Rebecca James Studio is an award-winning London based studio, specialising in luxury interior and product design, for high-end residential and hospitality projects in the UK and across the globe.

Adopting a holistic multi-disciplinary approach, each of Rebecca James’s projects is beautifully unique, culminating in an eclectic portfolio of high-end residential and hospitality projects that are perfectly tailored to the clients’ tastes. Her private projects can often be found to include one-off designed pieces that work symbiotically with treasured contemporary and antique objects.

James’ personal career is artistically multi-faceted; spending her earlier years as a professional ballerina, then a fashion model, Rebecca James was exposed to the plurality of culture, tastes and styles that accompany international travel, living in New York City, Hong Kong and Sri Lanka amongst many other cities and countries.

Inspired by this abundance of rich cultural experience as well as a lifelong passion for art and design, Rebecca James began formal studies at the Chelsea College of Arts which led to her opening her own interior design studio in 2008.

Since then, the studio has developed a style that is dynamic and sophisticated, receiving interna- tional acclaim in a variety of publications worldwide. An overarching objective of the studio is creating design for the future that is rooted in the past, citing 20th century art movements from Art Deco to Impressionism, as well as iconic designers such as Gio Ponti and Carlo Scarpa as prime inspirational sources. This reflective gaze manifests into projects that are both bold and elegant; irrefutably contemporary in their execution and tastefully grounded in the timeless styles of the past.

Rebecca James is also the co-founder and designer for bespoke furniture collection Felica James, a collaboration that was born from a passion for Art Deco and mid-century Italian design.
