L&Q Launch New Affordable Family Houses in Rugby

The most popular house-type in Rugby, semi-detached houses accounted for the majority of property sales in the town last year, selling for an average of £284,882 in 2022. Driven by growing demand, average sold prices in the region grew by 5% from 2021 to 2022.

Recognising this increased need for affordable family homes in the area, L&Q is launching a new collection of attractive four-bedroom Shared Ownership houses at Ashlawn Rise in Rugby on Saturday 24th June. Deposits for the new launch start from £7,100 for a four-bedroom Shared Ownership home.

A further collection of two- and three-bedroom homes will also be released later at the development this summer, alongside a brand-new show home. This launch will offer another affordable opportunity for couples and growing families to secure a house at the development, with further semi-detached houses, as well as terraced houses, available.

Claire Brenlund, Sales & Marketing Director at L&Q, comments:

“We are delighted to be delivering a brand-new collection of four-bedroom homes at Ashlawn Rise, alongside two and three-bedroom houses later in the summer.”

“These Shared Ownership properties are a great opportunity for families to step onto the property ladder in Warwickshire, as prices for a family home on the open market continue to climb. New residents really get the best of both worlds at Ashlawn Rise - the development is located a short walk from both the town centre and the idyllic surrounding countryside, with plenty of family-friendly activities close by.”

All the homes located at Ashlawn Rise have a fully inclusive specification throughout and will be covered by the NHBC warranty, which guarantees home cover for up to two years. The spacious open-plan living areas are ideal for busy family life. Modern kitchens are finished with soft close doors and draws as well as integrated appliances including an oven, hob, extractor hood, fridge-freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. Contemporary bathrooms are complete with a chrome bath, shower, basin taps and white sanitary ware. Upstairs, main bedrooms feature built-in mirrored wardrobes, which allow for clutter-free living, with a shelf and hanging rail. Each home at Ashlawn Rise comes with allocated parking, a shed and a turfed garden including paving.
