Chesterton Manor, Beaconsfield

Savills is reporting a huge increase in buyers coming from London looking for homes in the Beaconsfield area.  As house-hunters scramble to find a property that suits their personal needs in this picturesque market town, Shanly Homes has just three apartments remaining in its’ boutique scheme, Chesterton Manor.

Chris Moorhouse, Head of Residential Sales at Savills in Beaconsfield, comments:

“Since lockdown ended, we have seen an increase of over 120% in buyers looking for homes outside of the city. This is the perfect time for people considering to downsize, they are likely to get the maximise value for their larger properties as buyers jostle to buy family homes in the countryside. The apartments at Chesterton Manor are perfect for this, they have ample space and are beautifully positioned between the old and new towns of Beaconsfield."

Endorsing this surge in property sales, Rightmove has released the latest house price index and indicated that the number of monthly sales agreed in August 2020 was the highest in ten years. The data showed that the number of agreed property sales was up by 38% compared to last year.

Matthew Brazier, Sales Director at Shanly Homes Thames Valley comments:

“Chesterton Manor is an idyllic choice for downsizers. We have designed the apartments with space and easy living in mind.  Each home comes with two parking spaces and its own outdoor space.”

Chesterton Manor comprises a collection of just eight luxurious two-bedroom apartments, and three penthouse apartments. As is synonymous with Shanly Homes’ properties, these thoughtfully designed low-maintenance apartments are perfect for relaxing or entertaining guests. Each and every property here also benefits from a private balcony, terrace, or patio – providing the perfect space to eat alfresco for the evening.
