When it comes to selling a home, much attention is often given to kitchens and bathrooms. Yet increasingly, it is the outdoor space that can captures a
buyer's imagination.

The way we live has evolved as has the weather, and gardens are no longer viewed as a secondary outside space to be enjoyed occasionally. Instead, they have become an integral part of the home; a place to entertain and effectively have become an extension to the house to relax, dine and cook.
What makes a successful garden, however, is not necessarily its size. Whilst large gardens will always have their appeal, it is often the thoughtful use of space that leaves the greatest impression. A small courtyard can feel every bit as inviting as an acre of grounds when it has been carefully designed with seating areas, planting and lighting.
