Home App Launched to Revolutionise Property Buying and Management Process
Created and developed by TV Personality and Property Entrepreneur Emily Evans, the Home App is an innovative digital platform aimed at centralising all aspects of property ownership and management in the UK.
Available as a free download from the App Store and Google Play the Home App serves as a digital filing cabinet to help manage and organise the home buying process. One of the biggest causes of delay when purchasing a property is during conveyancing, with incomplete or missing paperwork often cited as the main reason for compliance bottlenecks.
If adopted at the beginning of the buying process the Home App could alleviate a lot of the issues due to its innovative and easy-to-use organisational elements. Key sections are listed as tabs, including financials, accounts, mortgage and maintenance, providing customisable filing and storage sections to ensure that all necessary documents from home insurance policies to boiler maintenance certificates are saved and organised in an easily accessible system.
Home App Founder, Emily Evans, commented: “I invented Home because buying, selling and managing your property has become far more complicated than it needs to be. So many people from individual homeowners and first-time buyers to professionals are becoming overwhelmed with the process and I wanted to build something that genuinely makes the whole journey easier.
“Current estimates show that around 25% of home purchases fall through during the conveyancing process due to delays leading to a change of mind, circumstance or issues derived from missing or incorrect paperwork. The Home App organises everything, keeps you on track and guides you through each step with clarity and confidence. My mission is to fix a broken part of the home buying process and give everyone the tools and knowledge to feel in control of their homes again.”
Fully launched to the market in May 2026, the Home App team are actively working to increase professional adoption of the system, as well as individual signups.
A necessary aid to ease the buying process the Home App is also a useful tool for those that already own their home and need a handy, easily accessible place to save their important documents. Folders can be updated with new policies, bills and statements so they’re easy to reach for reference or future use.
Other key features include an advice tab, which features tips and insight from Emily Evans, with a Q&A feature, as well as a trusted businesses section. This is still in the development stage, but all types of companies will be listed from tradespeople to solicitors and estate agents. One of the USPs of the section is the reviews and feedback, which will be independently verified to protect businesses from false reviews and ensure users that all positive feedback is genuine.

Also targeted at professionals, the Home App can be integrated into current processes to conveniently store, manage, and share everything to do with property management. The Home App can manage an unlimited number of properties, organise client documents, and streamline workflow within the professional dashboard.
Designed specifically for professional services, the app can help manage multiple clients and properties, provides automated reminders for compliance and includes a client sharing and access control feature.
One feature that will appeal to budding designers is the storage and collation section for those design inspirations found on the go. When out and about many people may spot a picture, piece of art, furniture or colour palette that they feel could transform their own home and the design feature of the app allows them to move pictures and videos from their camera roll into one easy-to-access section that will help bring their home DIY ideas to life.
