Chicago, IL - June 2026 - Colour-infused commercial furniture brand Division Twelve breaks ground at NeoCon with the introduction of Pohm as its first upholstered lounge chair and a natural expansion into soft seating. Inspired by the French word for apple (pomme), the name evokes a sense of roundness, warmth and familiarity, which are qualities that are reflected in the chair’s form and experience. Division Twelve is the whimsical sister brand of industry icon Keilhauer and offers specifiers greater options for commercial, hospitality and outdoor-driven environments.
Designed by Studio Marion under the direction of Nicole Marion, Pohm is defined by a plush, enveloping seat held within an exposed tubular frame, balancing comfort with clarity of construction. At its core is a distinctive gesture: a rounded wooden sphere at the end of the armrest, a ‘palm rest’ of sorts. More than a detail, it becomes a natural point of contact and an intuitive place to rest the hand, grounding the user through touch. This tactile moment introduces a sense of calm and connection, softening the industrial expression with a human, instinctive interaction. The contrast between the precision of metal and the warmth of wood is not only visual but experiential, inviting engagement and reinforcing a deeper relationship to its material.

The Pohm Lounge Chair reflects Division Twelve’s continued evolution and expands both the breadth of the collection and the depth of its design language. Rooted in material honesty and shaped by a more refined, confident perspective, these introductions mark a new era for the brand, one that embraces versatility, comfort and enduring design.

As a destination for the community, THE MART is where decisions are made and solutions are sourced across workplace, healthcare, education, hospitality, and government projects.
“Keilhauer brings the legacy. Division Twelve brings the whimsy. Together, we’re creating a more complete specifier experience,” says CEO Mike Keilhauer.
Designed with flexibility in mind, the showroom showcases a series of curated settings that demonstrate how Keilhauer products perform in real environments and supports collaboration, focus, and evolving workstyles.

Sustainability, Built In. A Commitment That Endures.
A sustainable world is a comfortable world, one where ease is shaped by a deeper responsibility to the environments we inhabit. For Keilhauer and Division Twelve, sustainability is not applied or appended, but fundamentally built in. It’s an enduring commitment to positive impact embedded within the brand’s values and carried through every stage of design, sourcing and manufacturing.
The Pohm Lounge Chair is Certified Carbon Neutral and Greenhealth Approved™, with its environmental impact made transparent through Life Cycle Assessments and Environmental Product Declarations. Keilhauer is proud that the entire Division Twelve collection is Certified Carbon Neutral. All relevant components of the new collections are crafted using FSC®-certified wood, and each piece is designed to meet rigorous third-party standards, including BIFMA LEVEL® 3 and SCS Indoor Advantage™ Gold.

These are not gestures applied after the fact, nor promises made in hindsight; they are the criteria that quietly define how each piece is conceived, evaluated and brought into the world.
Where work, hospitality and community meet.
With the opening of its new showroom at THE MART and the introduction of Pohm, Division Twelve reinforces its role in shaping a more design-centered future for the built environment. Through expressive colour, warmth and a spirit of playfulness, Division Twelve continues to create furniture that brings personality, energy and human connection into everyday environments.
