The Beauty of Stained Oak

There is something special about the natural beauty of stained oak, making it our most popular finish of 2026. It requires careful, meticulous application, but gives a warmth that can’t be replicated.

Our Staining Process

One of the best things about having our own workshop is that the sky is the limit when it comes to staining options. We have tried and tested many methods, but so far the product that gives us the most consistent colour requires everything to be done by hand. We wipe the stain on and then remove the excess. It is time consuming, but creates a beautiful finish that lasts forever, mirrored in our lifetime guarantee.
The Surrey Project

The Surrey project has so many bespoke elements. We designed the legs of the island together with our client, hand drawing the dimensions first. The worktop is a triple threat, oak bullnose with a double bullnose marble. All the staining took ages, but was so worth it! The extra touches that make this such a memorable project.
