BLACK BRICK ANNOUNCES THREE NEW APPOINTMENTS
Multi-award-winning buying agency Black Brick has welcomed three new recruits to its team. Alex Oliver joins as Associate Partner, Lorraine Germaix as Rental and Buying Consultant and Emma Soames as Property Manager. The new appointments mark the strengthening of the team and its services which include buying, investing, rental search, managed sales and property management.
Alex Oliver advises clients across prime central and outer London. He specialises in acting for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals, delivering a discreet, end-to-end acquisition service. Alex began his property career at Foxtons in 2013 before moving to Marsh & Parsons in Notting Hill, where he was the firm’s top-billing negotiator in his first year.
He joined Black Brick in 2017, spending over six years advising clients on and securing best-in-class properties across London, with a particular focus on Prime Central and North London. In 2023, Alex joined Prime Purchase as a Director, initially covering the country market before returning to London and rejoining Black Brick.
Lorraine Germaix specialises in rental search and property acquisition for international clients. Originally from Paris and living in London for fifteen years, she has a natural affinity for guiding European clients through the London market.
Whether clients are looking to rent first or commit to a purchase from the outset, Lorraine brings sharp market judgment and an instinct for matching people to the right home.
Before moving into prime property, Lorraine spent more than a decade at leading technology companies, working across commercial analytics and client strategy. She brings that rigour and drive to her research and client relationships.
Emma Soames is a key member of the Property Management team, bringing years of experience managing properties across Prime Central London. She has a strong understanding of the demands of high-value assets and at delivering a seamless service to clients, ensuring their properties are maintained to the highest standards.
