L&Q Hosts Yoga & Wellness Event in Growing Reading Community

Housing association L&Q hosted an exclusive outdoor yoga event in L&Q at Bankside Gardens, encouraging the growing community on-site to come together and get active in the new neighbourhood. As part of the major new development, L&Q is bringing 137 Shared Ownership homes, first-class facilities and new transport links to the outskirts of Reading. 

 

The event was hosted in partnership with local yoga studio, Yoga Reading, bringing two outdoor yoga sessions to the development. Residents and visitors took part in a 45-minute ‘Stretch and Flow’ class in one of Bankside Gardens’ scenic podium gardens, which provided a perfect setting for relaxation and mindfulness. After the yoga sessions, participants enjoyed a healthy breakfast and refreshments whilst they mingled with their neighbours.
