John D Wood & Co. Expands Network into Southeast London and Kent, with Office Openings in Herne Hill and Beckenham
John D Wood & Co., one of the UK’s leading prime estate agents, is pleased to announce it has expanded its London network with two new flagship residential sales and lettings offices in Herne Hill and Beckenham.
The new offices represent a milestone addition to the firm’s network and mark its first foray into Southeast London. They create a seamless link with the Country House Department which has a well-established presence across Kent. Bridging the gap between London and the country and led by a team of long-standing agents in the areas, both the sales and lettings departments operate not just in their core areas but also beyond. The Herne Hill office reaches across neighbouring residential areas such as Dulwich Village and East Dulwich, and the Beckenham office also covers Keston, Bromley and Chislehurst.
Herne Hill
The Herne Hill office occupies a prominent corner plot in the heart of the market area on Railton Road. Sarah Dirilen, Head of Sales at Herne Hill, has over a decade’s experience in the industry and brings extensive local knowledge from growing up in the area. Sarah works alongside newly appointed Elizabeth Whitehead, Head of Lettings, who has built her career at estate agencies in both prime central and south London.
The Beckenham office, situated in the old Lloyds Bank building on the High Street, is led by Branch Manager Lisa Knight, Sales Manager Denise Fellows and Lettings Manager Bradley Gilchrist. Together, they bring decades of experience and local knowledge, having spent their careers in Beckenham and its surrounding areas.

Both areas benefit from quick links into London Victoria - despite not being on the tube line – and are famed for their farmers markets.
