UK Housing Market

Reading is due to overtake Manchester as the UK’s fastest growing location, according to analysis by EY. Flagged as one of the best places to live in the UK in 2023, the town is going from strength to strength. Reading is projected to achieve annual GVA growth of 2.5% between 2024 and 2027, while its information and communication sector is forecast to achieve average annual growth of 3.3%. To meet demand for homes in the rapidly growing town, housing develop Bellway has launched a collection of beautiful new homes at Carter’s Court.

Located in Reading’s bustling northern hub, just a two-minute drive from the town centre, Carter’s Court is home to stylish apartments with one to three bedrooms and a selection of spacious four-bedroom houses. Built to Bellway’s exacting specification, the homes will deliver bright, contemporary interiors with sustainability-minded features that include electric vehicle charging points.

Emma Russell, Sales Director at Bellway, comments:

“Reading is in a strong position to make the most of the UK’s booming technology sector, providing plentiful career opportunities locally, as well as easy access to London. At the same time, it offers all the charm of traditional town life, including beautiful riverside parks and outstanding-rated schools. We are delighted to be launching new homes at Carter’s Court to match the high-quality lifestyle expectations of local residents.”
