Understatement by design – with its minimalist shape, developed by the designer Christian Haas, who has already created several successful designs for Villeroy & Boch, Afina introduces an elegant and light note in everyday life. Decorated with a delicate relief of concentric rays of sunshine, the white Premium Porcelain impresses with an exciting new interpretation of the modern coupe shape. The design is characterised by a raised rim and a concealed base area that creates a sophisticated shadow effect, making the porcelain appear to almost float weightlessly above the table.
To complete the experience, there is a matching strainer for the elegant pot, as well as a slender milk jug and a sugar bowl with a lid. The milk jug and sugar bowl fit, just like the coffee cup and small bowl, on the same saucer – saving both space and crockery. To serve pastries and cakes, there is also a new oval platter, an ideal addition to the collection and perfect for a wide range of uses.
