Herringbone works with architect Guy Hollaway and Meridian to complete double annexe
This double annexe is one of a kind. Herringbone did the bespoke joinery for the project including both kitchens, larders, bench seating, storage units and wardrobes. Together with Meridian Construction and architect Guy Hollaway, Herringbone achieved a stunning space that works for both short-term and long-term guests to come and stay. The Two Bedroom Annxe
The large two bedroom annexe is truly stunning. It’s light wood finish throughout makes the space airy and welcoming whilst offering a bright and spacious feel. The one-wall kitchen is a white wash finish with a beautiful Quartz worktop and splashback with an almost hidden floating shelf in the same material. It offers plenty of storage and hides the fridge freezer and the washing machine perfectly.
The space is also fitted with a bespoke banquette seating area by the large window perfect for enjoying food and drinks. The seat has a sliding drawer underneath for extra storage. By the entrance is a floating bench and hallway units for storing coats, boots and much more. Both seats have been upholstered by Herringbone also as part of the project.
The bedrooms have the same design and feel as the open plan kitchen, living and dining room - airy, spacious and cozy. The wardrobes are made to fit perfectly in the space and store all the luggage away.
Connected to the two bedroom annexe is the one bedroom annexe, which can be entered seperately or by the same entrace. The architech Guy Hollaway designed it to be used as one big annexe or as two seperate ones, depending on the group size of the guests.
The kitchen follows the same design as in the two bed annexe however, it stands out in the space with it’s pure white Quartz worktop and splashback. The storage is practical and the floating shelf helps bring in character and fun to the one-wall kitchen space.
The bedroom is again beauiful and comfortable having been designed with a stylish yet practical design in mind. The bespoke fitted wardrobe is made-to-measure and fits in perfectly.
